Perfect Brows – Semi Permanent Makeup Experience – Emma Murray
The quest for a perfect brow!
Admittedly I’d never really considered having my eyebrows tattooed, I mean the word tattooed puts you off right? An image of a dark bold line is conjured in your mind and you fear of never seeing your old brows ever again.
Little did I know though my morning brow routine would never be the same again…. definitely for the better!
Having known Charlotte for years and seeing how meticulous she is with her own makeup I saw her completer a number of eyebrow procedures and decided to go for it – yes I was going to have my eyebrows tattooed!!
To cut a long story short it was one of the easiest procedures I’ve undertaken and that’s no exaggeration. Charlotte spent about 30 minutes explaining the procedure to me and drawing on my new, perfectly arched brows before the treatment began.
Numbing cream is initially applied to take the scratch off the first part of the procedure which is essentially breaking the skin. After that a strong block is used and 5 minutes later I could barely feel a thing. So comfortable is it in fact I spent most of the 60 minute procedure chatting away and almost forgot what I had booked in for.
At the end of the treatment Charlotte asked me to check in the mirror and scrutinize her work to ensure I was happy. Happy is an understatement – I was ecstatic! I didn’t think my brows had been bad before but wow, what a difference they made.
For all those considering semi permanent makeup I would highly recommend it. Although not the cheapest thing by far, the time it saves you with tinting and waxing and the amazing shape you achieve is clearly worth it. I paid £250 for my perfect brows, which I understand to be a reasonable price for this treatment. It’s £250 I would certainly spend again!
